Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG has acquired the main product range of Brückner Formtec GmbH (headquarters in Siegsdorf, Germany). This measure takes effect as from 1st January 2009 and ensures that in future, not only film stretching lines but also equipment for the manufacture of cast film and sheet shall be offered by one reliable source.
This asset acquisition within the Brückner Group became necessary in view of the trend towards cast film lines with wider working widths, higher speeds and output; which also coincides with the demands on high-performance stretching lines. The production has increasingly shifted to cast film and sheet also by biaxial stretched film manufacturers. With this development in mind, Brückner has responded with this takeover and has integrated both fields.
According to the management at Brückner Maschinenbau, customers clearly benefit from the motto in the spirit of „one face for the customer“. Further, one predicts a possibility to access new markets and tap full synergy potential.
