Third Brückner line for Turkish film manufacturer Polibak
As one of the leading plastic film producers in Turkey Polibak A.Ş., a subsidiary of Bakioğlu Holding, has been producing BOPP and CPP film since 1994. Now the film producer is further expanding its production site in Izmir with another BOPP packaging film line from Brückner Maschinenbau.
With 10.4m line width and production speeds up to 600m/min, the new Brückner line has an output of over 7,600kg per hour. This will increase Polibak's annual production by up to 60,000 tons and bring Polibak's total BOPP film production capacity to 227,000 tons per year. The new BOPP line is the third joint project between Polibak and Brückner. It is planned to be ready for production in the beginning of 2024.
Özgür Çertuğ, General Manager of Polibak, says: "Brückner always delivers excellent quality - something we have been very pleased with in the past two joint projects. From the high quality in the assembly and the handling to the film quality as well as the high output, we were extremely satisfied, so we are happy to continue the long and very close partnership between Polibak and Brückner now."

At this point, we can already reveal that this was certainly not the last joint project of Polibak and Brückner. Future projects are already being discussed - whether in Turkey or abroad has not yet been decided.”
