Stefan Moll is the new CTO – Focus on medical engineering
KIEFEL GmbH, member of the Brückner Group and market-leading engineering company for plastics processing, is reinforcing its management. Stefan Moll has been responsible for technical matters as CTO since May 1, 2020, with a particular focus on global medical engineering business. Moll complements the existing management team of Thomas J. Halletz, CEO, and Peter Eisl, CFO. Together, they will focus the company even more on strategic future issues.
"Stefan Moll will concentrate primarily on new technical developments in the medical division. He takes over the management of central technical areas of production while driving the Kiefel digitalization strategy," said Dr. Axel von Wiedersperg, Brückner Group CEO. The connection between sustainability and digitalization will also play a special role here. With further investments in technological developments Kiefel Medical will be prepared for future challenges.
Most recently, Moll was the CTO at Fette Compacting Group, a market leader for tablet presses, responsible for the company's realignment in the areas of digitalization and process optimization. Previously, he was Managing Director and Member of the Board of Directors at Comet AG, manufacturer of industrial X-ray and CT systems. He also looks back on experience in various management positions, at companies including B. Braun Avitum AG and Dräger Medizintechnik.
