Smooth processes bring custom-tailored and -configured spare part on-site within no time
We would like to share the story of this real-life example of our extraordinary service with you:
When a European film manufacturer recently reported a defect temperature controller at the die bolt heating at a non-Brückner BOPP line, Brückner Servtec moved heaven and earth to bring the spare part on-site as soon as possible. Since high quality film manufacturing is not possible without the controller, the production was stopped. In order to limit the production loss, time was short for the customer and for Brückner.
The customer reported the defect at noon on Wednesday to the Brückner Servtec electrical service department. Brückner specialists localized the defect and identified the faulty controller with the help of remote service. Since there was a spare controller in-house, Brückner could immediately start with its configuration, which included also several telephone conversations with the customer to clarify the details. In the meantime, the commercial departments at Brückner prepared already all necessary documents for the order, shipping, etc. in a rush.
But how to get the controller as fast as possible to the customer, 800 km away from the Brückner headquarters? Brückner decided to send a local taxi, which departed on Thursday afternoon with the completely custom-tailored and pre-configured temperature controller: only 27 hours after the initial error message by the customer! In the early Friday morning, the taxi arrived at the customer and the line could finally start with the production again.
The customer was very pleased with Brückner’s solution of the problem within the shortest time possible.
Of course, for Brückner Servtec it goes without saying that all teams show 100% commitment and go the extra mile also for customers with non-Brückner lines.
