Brückner Academy: New technology enables most efficient training environment

17 Dec 2019

Electrical training virtually “at” the customer’s film stretching line

The Brückner Academy provides a broad variety of electrical training courses. Practical examples show the customer’s employees new ways to fasten troubleshooting, increase plant efficiency and get a better machine understanding.

In order to increase the training efficiency, we have established a new training environment: Using the latest technology, we can now also create a virtual version of the customer’s film stretching line and its individual software architecture. The training can be done 1:1 at the line with all its specific adjustments. This provides the most efficient training environment, since the participants are already used to the software surface and its functionalities. Additionally, the virtual version of the line can simulate specific situations, such as complex maintenance tasks, and the trainer shows the best way to proceed. To ensure highest data security, no production data will be transferred to the virtual “academy” line. At the end of the training, all data of the virtual line will be deleted.

The electrical training program includes:

  • Detailed line overview and operation
  • Electrical components and networking
  • PVSS/WinCC visualization and software handling
  • Line troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Software back-up and restore
  • Individual training topics are available on request

Your benefits:

  • Higher line availability: increased troubleshooting and maintenance abilities
  • Save costs: troubleshooting problems and basic modifications can be done by your staff themselves
  • Preserve your investment with optimal maintenance know-how
  • High knowledge level for your employees
  • Custom-made, cost-efficient training unit for your film production line
  • Comprehensive training program for each target group
  • Access to over 50 years of film manufacturing experience and know-how

The training courses can be held at the Brückner headquarters in Germany, on-site at the customer’s plant or in one of the Brückner service locations worldwide.

Contact e-service@brueckner.com to get your individual training program, because well trained staff is the best base for a successful business.
