This year’s NPE – for the first time in Orlando, Florida – demonstrated that America’s plastics industry is on the way up again! An impressive number of visitors showed up at the Brückner Group’s booth – and they made clear that they see attractive new business opportunities for the plastics industry in North as well as in South America.
Today, many plastics processors are interested in diversifying their business and took the opportunity to check the variety of possibilities the Brückner Group offers – at one booth, at one glance: film stretching, thermoforming, caps & closure manufacturing and much more.
Film producers from the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and South America were excited to learn more about
Brückner Maschinenbau’s latest solutions for the production of first class quality oriented film, such as multi-layer high barrier applications, shrink film labels or battery separator films. They also showed immense interest in increasing their output, efficiency and productivity with Brückner’s unique line technology.
Kiefel recognized a clear increase of customers compared to past NPE shows. The American trend to bring production capacity back to the US is creating
a high demand for high tech equipment for manufacturing rigid packaging such as cups and trays. Kiefel’s newest solutions led to numerous highly qualified discussions, especially about the demonstrated high output cup forming machine.
NPE 2012 has been an excellent opportunity for
PackSys Global to maintain contacts with existing customers as well as to make many new contacts, especially with companies from Mexico and South America. Many visitors were interested in discussing recent innovations for cosmetic laminate tubes as well as new developments in the market for high-speed production of tamper evident beverage caps.
Brückner Servtec, the group’s upgrading and service specialists, clearly recognized that the common trend to more flexibility and fast reaction times lead to rising demand for their tele-service solutions and MMS mobile, a special version of their Manufacturing Management System (MMS), for use with smart phones and other mobile devices, such as iPhone and iPad.
