Oben Holding Group orders BOPP line of superlatives
The Oben Holding Group, based in Lima, Peru, and Brückner Maschinenbau share a long-standing partnership – and this is now entering the next round: After the first 10.4-meter BOPP line of the Oben Holding Group, which was commissioned in November 2020, and the recent commissioning of the latest 10.5-meter high-speed BOPET line in early March 2022, the two companies are now taking the next step together – especially in terms of line size and production volume:
Oben Holding Group has signed the second high-speed BOPP line for OPP Film Colombia in Barranquilla, with an annual production of 70,500 tons of film. The new 10.6 m line has a production speed of 625 m/min and an output of 8.8 t/h.
Helmut Huber, COO Sales & Project Management at Brückner Maschinenbau, says: "This project is a strong sign and highlights the confidence of the Oben Holding Group in the stretching line technology of Brückner Maschinenbau. We are very pleased to be able to further expand our cooperation."
