Improved service for the Indian Subcontinent

Successful establishment of Brückner Machinery & Service India

More than 18 months after the establishment of Brückner Machinery and Service India (BMI), customers in India and neighbouring countries benefit from a total range of high quality service products in close proximity which guarantees flexibility and fastest response and support.

Specialists with long-term experience in film production provide engineering services for electrical, mechanical and process technology. Additionally, BMI operates one of the worldwide existing Brückner CLIPFIT centres – professional clip and chain cleaning and refurbishment for BO film production.

Since customers highly appreciate BMI’s services and performance, managing director S.V. Amlekar and his team will expand the product portfolio and move to a new and bigger location by the end of 2008.

At PlastIndia (February 4-9, 2009 in New Delhi) Brückner Machinery & Service India will present its wide range of service products for film manufacturing.

Shrikrishna Amlekar, managing director, has worked in executive positions for many years for a leading Indian polyester film manufacturer. He was responsible for major upgrading and modernisation projects of BOPET lines.
Anand Kulkarni, an electrical engineer, comes from the BOPP industry where he was employed for several years by the Indian market leader. At BMI, Kulkarni is responsible for electrical engineering, commissioning, start-up and support.
Ajay Deshpande, a process technology expert, combines BOPP and BOPET experience since he has more than 13 years’ experience in these business fields. Deshpande is in charge of line commissioning and process technology at BMI.
Aparna Upadhye is the executive secretary of BMI and organises and carries out all back office activities. Among other things, she takes care of quotations, ordering and travel arrangements for service assignments.
