Chinese film producer Kunshan Yuncheng Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. were so pleased with the experience they had with their three successfully running Brückner BOPA lines that they came to the decision to do it again! The latest joint project will be the widest and most powerful sequential BOPA line in the world, with a previously unreached 6.6 m working width, the mechanical speed up to 320 m/min and an output of 1,695 kg/h on the winder !

Mr. Li Peng, General Manager, BOPA Business Division, Yuncheng Plate Making Group, says: “Brückner's BOPA technology perfectly meets our needs. Our new line’s width and speed together with many special features will guarantee us a superb production efficiency and the first class film quality our customers request.”

All over the world BOPA films are in increasing demand for food packaging, especially for fatty and oily foods, highly transparent packaging film, distilled goods packaging, agricultural products packaging or for medical products. Brückner Maschinenbau is the pioneer in BOPA film stretching technology. Starting with working widths of 4.2 m a decade ago, then successfully marketing 5.1 m lines, the company only recently announced that they would be presenting both sequential and simultaneous BOPA lines with a working width of 6.6 meters at the “K 2016”. This will increase output by a good 30% and substantially increase productivity.
