We regard it as our responsibility to make a positive contribution to a sustainable future society by means of innovative technologies, resource-saving processes, and climate-friendly solutions. In this regard, we aim to strike a balance between environmental and social values, foster environmental friendliness and circularity in our value chain, and actively help shape a circular economy.
We are reducing our direct CO₂ emissions by 50%. At least 25% of our electricity requirements are covered by our own solar power systems. We are also continuously improving the energy efficiency of our machines and plants.
We are continuously enhancing our solutions and production processes to use resources more efficiently and to make our end products easier to recycle – guided by clear, measurable research objectives within each Business Unit.
We donate more than EUR 100,000 a year to environmental organizations who engage in the reduction of plastic waste leakage to the environment.
We invest in professional development, the aim being to increase the training time per person by 30% (based on selected training programs). We also plan to fill two thirds of our management positions from our own ranks.
We assess the risks of our suppliers annually, and systematically implement all necessary measures.
Every two years, all employees receive comprehensive training on the compliance rules and ethical standards of the Brückner Group.

In January 2025, we joined forces with 60 other leading industrial companies, all of whom are working together to combat plastic waste. Drawing on our innovative excellence, we are championing the cause of a functioning circular economy – responsibly, looking to the future, and in tandem with strong partners.

In November 2024, the Brückner Group received the German Sustainability Award (DNP), recognizing our leading role in transforming the plastics and rubber industry.
