Super-powerful BOPA line on stream in no time

Long-standing customer Ningbo Ruicheng broadens portfolio

A 6.6m wide BOPA line, designed for a mechanical speed of 320m/min is for sure one of the most powerful machines of its kind in the world. And this was exactly what the renowned Chinese film producer Ningbo Ruicheng Packing Material Co., Ltd. was looking for, when deciding to broaden their BO film portfolio. Once again they teamed up with their long-standing partner Brückner Maschinenbau, based on the experience of an excellent cooperation with the two previous BOPP projects: Ningbo Ruicheng is successfully operating a 8.7m line and a 10.4m line and thus is one of China’s most productive producers of biaxially oriented PP films.

Usually, starting a BOPA line is not that easy – especially when it is the first one for the film manufacturer. But this joint project benefitted from Ningbo Ruicheng’s experience with large BO lines, Brückner’s unique know-how when it comes to design, process and install PA projects and both parties’ absolutely smooth cooperation. All this resulted in 

  • Good film on winder in an incredibly short time
  • Immediate market acceptance for the film
  • Fantastic production stability from day one
  • Super-fast return on investment

Mr. Zheng Shao, Owner and General Manager of Ningbo Ruicheng emphasizes: “In China the demand for high quality BOPA films is rising. But it is not without risk to enter this market.
