First 10.4m BOPP film line

Last year the leading Indian film producer SRF decided for their first 10.4m polyester film line – now they follow in the polypropylene market. With the most modern 10.4m BOPP film line, SRF enters a new dimension for their production of oriented PP films. The 10.4m line is the fastest and widest currently available on the market. SRF wants to install the innovative line at their Thailand location to optimally serve the Southeast Asian markets.

Prashant Mehra, SRF’s President & CEO, states: “We want to manufacture as efficiently and productively as possible – and we wanted to go with Brückner Maschinenbau again, due to our good experiences in the past. With the ultra-modern 10.4m BOPP film line we expand our long-term cooperation. We are very much looking forward to this project – it will be a big deal!”

SRF is one of India’s largest manufacturers of BOPP and BOPET films. The company has production sites in India, Thailand, Hungary and South Africa.
