Egypt El-Maraghy round off their portfolio

Shrink film applications such as sleeves and labels are an essential component of all kinds of bottles and various other packaging solutions like containers and cans: They transport important information for the consumer and are a tool for differentiation. Such labels and sleeves are the core business for the renowned Egypt printer and converter El-Maraghy Pack for Printing & Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. So far they have been importing the necessary shrink film – but now they want to extend their portfolio.

El-Maraghy’s Vice Chairman Hussam Ahmed Elsayed Mohamed says: „With our long-standing experience in printing and converting plastic films we exactly know about the importance of a good quality for subsequent processing steps. That‘s why we teamed up with Brückner. Their very good references and especially their tailor-made flexible offline concept for a variety of polymers were key factors for our decision.“

The production of transversely (TD) oriented shrink films with Africa’s first line of this type will start at the end of 2020 at El-Maraghy’s Cairo site.
