Brückner at Chinaplas 2007: Booth 1 B 321
26 Mar 2007 - Chinese plastics industry benefits from new technologies
The recent acquisition of Kiefel marked a significant step to further strengthen the strategic development of the whole Brückner Group. The principal aim is to open new expanding markets with innovative products of a high technological level in the field of plastics machinery. Kiefel`s product portfolio comprises production and special-purpose machines for plastics processing in the automotive, medical and packaging industry as well as blown film extrusion systems and film winders for the packaging industry. At the Chinaplas 2007, Brückner and Kiefel will be present in the immediate neighborhood.

Brückner Maschinenbau focuses on how to support their Chinese customers striving for a highly productive, economical and flexible production of first class quality oriented films.

Advanced, flexible and efficient BOPP lines
Twin screw technology with additional fluff dosing system
- saving one complete recycling step
- optimizing the process
MDO direct drives to allow flexible gap selection for sensitive skin layers
TDO with advanced heat recovery system, reusing exhaust heat and additionally absorbing disturbing oligomer condensation to improve film quality
LIWEB, TDO inlet film tracking system, coping with high line speeds based on latest linear motor technology to boost uptime and avoid clipping failures
Revolutionary linear motor winding system LIWIND®
- Perfectly wound mill rolls for all film types
- Wide operating windows, supreme flexibility
- Less wear and tear, improved performance

Latest equipment for added value BOPET films
Unique 2-gap MDO stretching unit to allow lower pinning speeds, leading to high speed production without additional costly pinning agents
Line speeds 400 m/min and more
Twin screw technology for main extrusion: no pre-drying needed - big cost savings potential
Trendsetting drive system for excellent optical quality
Energy saving design: heat recovery systems, reusing exhaust heat
Advanced thickness measurement for brilliant thickness profiles
Utmost flexibility: film thickness up to 400µm (sequential) or 250µm (simultaneous, contact-free stretched) for A-grade optical films

Energy saving solutions for trendsetters

Chinese government as well as Chinese film producers are striving for low energy consumption to share their part of reducing green-house gases. Brückner supports this by:
Twin screw extrusion
Direct drive systems – avoiding mechanical wear and losses
Regenerating energy for line drive systems
Water cooled motors, saving air conditioning power
Oven heat recovery system
TDO exhaust air control
Energy management system
Stand-alone power station (electrical & thermal energy)

Brückner Formtec: Economy of Scale –
extra large output of CPP, LLDPE  and APET films

Brückner Formtec presents sophisticated and highly efficient cast and sheet extrusion lines. Cast Film Lines for CPP and LLDPE stretch wrap with a width of up to 6 meters and lines featuring roll stack technology up to 2,7m width show Formtec´s unique standing.

Additionally Brückner Formtec’s innovative approach towards laminated PET/PE structures combines this converting step in-line to the extrusion process. As a result, productivity is significantly increased due to lower handling- and storage costs.

Brückner Servtec: Tailor-made service products

Brückner Servtec, the after-sales service and upgrading division, will present various solutions for the efficient and cost-effective operation of recently commissioned lines. Servtec`s experts will demonstrate software tools to increase productivity, and also maintenance of chain track systems and proposals for speed-up, process optimisations and software-upgrades.
