Biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP) is the absolute number one within the market for biaxially oriented film. The main application is packaging material with thicknesses ranging between 15 – 60 µm and also technical applications, such as capacitor film from 3 – 20 µm. In view of its excellent properties and the wide variety of possible applications an outstanding growth of the PP market is expected in the following years.
We provide high quality solutions for all film types from plain to multi-layer, high clarity to opaque, barrier, shrink, metallizable or ultra-thin capacitor films for various applications. Our BOPP film lines with film widths up to 10 meters and speeds up to 500 meters/minute are the largest, most flexible and fastest lines ever built. |

Our vast experience for your success
Biaxially oriented polyester films (BOPET) range from 0.5 µm ultra-thin capacitor films to 350 µm thick films for electrical insulation in both, plain film and coex film technology. The main part of the production ranges between 6 and 75 µm. Packaging material (e.g. metallized film) and technical applications, such as magnetic tapes are the most important products. For the coming years, a dramatic rise in PET packaging consumption is foreseen, especially in Asia.
Since the early beginning of polyester biaxial stretching, our lines provide sophisticated solutions for a wide range of applications. Various lines for your individual product range
In view of its excellent transparency, stiffness, strength and its good barrier properties, biaxially oriented polystyrol (BOPS) film is used today for packaging, especially in the food sector. Brückner provides various BOPS lines with working widths of up to 4 meters for packaging applications as well as for special thin film applications, e.g. labels, envelope windows, twist wrap. |

Biaxially oriented polyamid film (BOPA) has convincing properties: Very good stiffness and strength, excellent high barrier properties, a wide temperature range makes the various products ideal for different applications in multi-layer technology, especially in the food packaging field (e.g. for greasy and oily products).
Brückner has gained specific experience on how to achieve BOPA film of high quality.
Generally there are three biaxial stretching technologies used for the production of BOPA film: double-bubble blown, two-stage stretching (sequential principle) and simultaneous stretching. Whatever line concept a customer is thinking of - depending on the film to be produced, the planned investment or the market demands - Brückner is the right partner for all BO polyamide film solutions. |
