Extensive extrusion know-how
In film stretching lines the extrusion for raw material processing plays an important role because it substantially influences the stretching process as well as the layer structure of the end film. Polymers, available as granulate, powder or fluff, are melted in the extrusion unit and thermally and mechanically homogenized.
If necessary further additives, agents and fillers are added. After the material is filtered it is discharged as one-layer or at use of several extruders, as multi-layer film by means of one-layer or multi-layer dies.
